I will be tracking and keeping a database updated of all verified Twitter accounts and other accounts that are considered influential. I have currently ingested 740 million tweets and I am almost finished the initial ingest of historical tweets for verified accounts.

Thanks for these awesome efforts! It would be fascinating to include periodic snapshots of their friend/follower lists. Big opportunity for network analysis there. And (last I tried anyway) the rate limits for friend/follower are separate from those for tweets - no conflict.
