hey #lazyweb! does anyone know in the reddit corpus (files.pushshift.io/reddit/submiss) how to tell if a post is a main post vs a reply (and if a reply, a reply to what)? sorry if this is doc'd somewhere and i missed it!

posts can't be replies to things but I assume you mean comment -- look at the parent_id of the object. If it links to a t1 object, it is a reply to a comment, if it links to a t3 object it is a top level comment within a post.
