For real though! I've been watching and waiting and very excited about this. Alas, probably not realistic for me to get into this data any time soon. Which is to say: I'll be avidly reading your commentary and researching vicariously.

There is one benefit to waiting -- I'm going to use the Perspective toxicity API to assign a toxicity score to every post in the Corpus and then create an updated one. Also will be putting the entire dataset into #BigQuery soon

Beautiful! Are you going to gather the other scores perspective offers? I did this with Reddit and was able to ask the API for all scores with a single call, so basically zero extra effort.

That elevated access is beautiful. If you're considering doing historical Reddit data, we should talk (because I have the scores already and could save you time). We messed up though and didn't remove quoted text from replies before scoring. :(

Forgetting to remove quoted text is exactly the kind of error I'd easily make but that's understandable. Yeah, we should definitely talk -- sometime next week if you're around?
