Several really good friends of my parents had their houses burnt to the ground in the #ParadiseFire. They lost EVERYTHING. People are moving from Chicago to hurricane/superstorm coast or the Land of Fires in large numbers and I don't understand why.

Honestly I'm just glad they aren't dead. They had no warning, couldn't even save a laptop.
