The vegan movement has a problem with some of our people being against medicine. As a scientist and former medical researcher it’s very awkward for me. I hate it. Never figured out what I can do aside from arguing with them, and I dont have the energy for internet arguing anyway.

I've always been interested in changing my diet for the better and the Vegan lifestyle seems like a very tough adjustment for someone who loves a good steak. I've seen a lot of videos that show how animals are treated and it is disgusting. Are there any good books that you ...

... recommend for a meat eater who would like to make a gradual transition to vegetarianism? I'd like to make the adjustment, but I don't think I can do it all at once.

First: I think it's great that you are interested. Most people are not of that ethical caliber. Second: you have the right idea about making the transition. People who try to do it all at once almost always fail. That's where the "I was vegan for 2 weeks" jokes come from.

I didnt become vegan in a day. I didnt even become vegan in a year. I became vegetarian in a day. Then over the course of 2 years I started cutting things out one by one until I was there. I don't have any book recs because I didn't read any books about it. I just cooked and ate.

Have you ever tried a product called Soylent? I've heard some things about it and I'm interested in giving it a try.

Never tried it. I have friends with digestive issues who love it. They say that no matter how messed up their gut, they can always digest it just fine and get the nutrients from it. Sounds good to me. As for myself I really enjoy cooking. Which made my journey to veganism easier.
