semi-related question: the pushshift BQ comments dataset stopped receiving new data since Jun 26 (the submissions table is working fine). Did something break?

Yep. I have to write some alerts but haven't had the time yet. Should get to it soon. I may just wait till the new API goes out to not build any more code on the current API. I'll keep you posted.
