It's absolute madness. Watching this unfold and get worse each day is frightening. I called and wrote my representatives -- I encourage everyone to make noise about this. This is not the US I know and love.

) have been vocal in their opposition to this policy. It's hard to fathom that Senators from other states are actually on board with it though :(

Yeah -- my state is also mainly democratic (Maryland) -- but whatever we can do to keep the phones lit up at Congress. It is infuriating that we've gotten to this point and even more infuriating to see comments from people like Ann Coulter calling the kids "crisis actors."
