Can we please lose the "subtropical" storm designation in the bulletins and warnings as it's confusing to the public and dilutes your message? I suggest that you make a note/asterik somewhere else.

As someone who is not a meteorologist, I think of "subtropical storm" as a wimpy storm that couldn't even get to a pre-hurricane stage.
