They were so popular in the early 2000's that we had to ban them from elementary and middle school campuses near where I lived.

I still resent my fourth grade teacher because she took mine away simply for having a small stack in my desk. She never returned them and now they would worth a pretty penny.

I dug out all my old cards from when I was a kid during the pandemic and started selling them on ebay and they were worth a fair amount more than I thought—I've also never encountered bigger sticklers on ebay than people who buy cards lol
