      Sandberg has shifted back and forth from her normal pleas for small business, the benefits of "personalized ads" and innovation. I honestly don't think she's ever run a material business that doesn't depend on surveillance economics. /8

      third analyst question, Doug Anmuth from JP Morgan, asks a soft but legit question about Apple ATT and effect on Facebook. CFO stumbles and then calls it "generally in-line with expectations." He fails to give a percentage opt-out as Anmuth didn't ask for it.

      Facebook totally dodged a follow-up on the effects of iOS 14.5+, ***it's a simple question to ask what % of users are granting Facebook permission to track under ATT.*** Let's see if any other analyst follows up again. /12

This is NOT an answer from the CFO of a Trillion dollar company around an issue where they ran a national ad campaign because it was such a significant threat to their business.           wow, I missed Facebook's transcript of its follow-up call with analysts last Wed as part of earnings. Apple's iOS 14.5 changes came up several more times.
