It's an honor of a lifetime to run for City Council in District 23, right in my hometown of Glen Oaks. I've lived in East Queens my entire life. Now, it's my duty to fight beyond the realm of what's possible and bring dignity back to our district. http://jaslinkaur.nyc/
I grew up in a transit desert, running for the Q46 bus every morning. I watched my family tumble into debt from the taxi medallion crisis. And I've waited hours in line to apply for food stamps. I know what our city can do. But it's failing working class families like mine.
