    This happened about 10-15 mins from where I live. It's the St.Ann Police Dept here in Missouri. They then found out they arrested the wrong person. Infuriating. They arrested this man for nothing. You can contact them at (314) 427-8009.

    The woman who said Emmett Till came onto her lied about what he said. The officer who killed Oscar Grant lied about what he did. The police withheld video of Sandra Bland that tells a different story. There’s a long history of black ppl being killed based on someone else’s lie.

    On top of this misconduct, the officer also blatantly *lied* about this entire arrest in official reports. Prosecutors dismissed perjury charges against him b/c he simply promised to no longer seek work as a police officer and surrendered his law enforcement license.

    Local authorities kept this cell phone video from Sandra Bland a secret for 4 years. Local journalists fought to get it released. Sandra Bland knew her rights. She never should've been arrested and threatened in the first place. A gross abuse of power from this officer.

    City of Flint back putting liens on peoples homes for unpaid water bills. Now people are at risk of losing their homes for not keeping up with the highest water rates in the country for water that is not tap drinkable.
