It comes across to your audience that you no longer care about the many smaller creators and their communities who are the majority of the sites viewers. The 50k-900k sub people who are the foundation and the blood of the website.

There are more smaller creators than big. And many of them have worked so hard and for so long to reach and achievement you gave that made them so happy—just for you to one day decide because they aren't celebrities or celebrity level that they no longer deserve it.

It's a statement that YouTube recognizes and acknowledges them and is congratulating their success in a very small, but noticeable way. This idea, whoever decided it was good, makes it comes across as them no longer worth it in your eyes.

You are intentionally ignoring and turning a blind-eye to the channels who actually contribute the absolute most to this platform. Sure, the giant behemoth YouTubers are great, but you rely on only them and the system fails. You can NOT turn a blind eye to the ones who do the

most because they are passionate about what they make and do. There are many celebrity status YouTubers who don't care but who are famous and will be verified who truthfully don't deserve it. And you are purposefully choosing to acknowledge them over the core of this site. Sad.
