Everyone knows you need to maintain good relationships with ad partners and companies. However you aren’t handling it at all as how it should be done. You need more systems to run in favor of content creators too.
@TeamYouTube @YouTube Are you going to address these problems going on at all. The Content ID and Copyright systems being abused. Or are you going to sit by idle and let your creators who made you as big as you are get screwed over in favor of the big companies.

Make monetization run to an unpaid account always so companies can NOT just take the money after claiming videos illegitimately.

You need a serious discussion with companies like UMG, a healthy but strong and effective one.

You need to take MORE responsibility. Viewers need you to so they can watch content. Creators need you to so they can feel safe and stable. Just because creators aren’t directly your employees doesn’t mean they don’t have a life and bills that rely on your site.

If it keeps going like this, eventually you will lose in the long run. Another site will come and another platform will take over.

@Google you need to help one of your services MORE. You run ads across the internet. You can talk to these companies.Show this thread -
Both Google and YouTube need to put your foot down and stand for what’s right. Not what’s monetarily beneficial currently.

If you have to do something to impact creators for now, while not happy, a majority will understand whilst having to outsource through Patreon or something to make ends meet.

Standing for what’s right will always, ALWAYS result in a greater end then trying to play safe with these bully companies.

You also need to stand up for your creators being completely and thoroughly and wrongfully targeted by articles by companies like

You can NOT be so dense as to not try to understand BOTH sides. Because as the platform is right now, all people see is you taking the side of who has more to offer monetarily at that time.

Some people are forced to cover content behind paywalls like
@Patreon BECAUSE of your lack of helping creators. Which is understandable (while not right) from the creators standpoint, but it blocks so many from things.Show this thread -
You
@TeamYouTube@YouTube used to be for the individual. It’s such a shame to see you migrate to more often than not favoring the business and money side of everything now.Show this thread -
There are companies who truly advertise for good services and by good people who exist. There are good creators. They all get ignored for the big advertisers who can offer the site more money.

But you don’t care because for the moment this site is the place to go for everything. So until you are threatened you will just keep doing things like this despite backlash. Because the only voices people can give is backlash and dislikes and comments which are...
