@japaneseammo patreon supporter here! i have a question! I often hear in anime, characters using か with informal verbs, which I thought was not used. (ex: 「オレが行こうか?」) is this ever used in real life? Is the tone rude or rough? よろしくお願いします!

Let's (よう) form + か is fine. It means 'Shall I?' Both girls and boys use it =) I think I explained this in the grammar lesson on LETS so check it out =) Thanks for supporting me btw

Thanks so much! You make it easy to understand! Another example which is kind of different is in Dragon Ball, Cell says 「私はウォーミングアップだと言ったではないか?」”Didn’t I say I was warming up?”This was a little confusing. Is じゃないか common? (Sorry for so many questions)

That sounds more anime like. We often use じゃん or でしょ / だろ (masc) =)
