Yeah, I finally finished it and it was amazing! I really recommend playing it! However, you're are right! My sister has the game too, but she's still at the beginning of the game and she has been playing it for several months! xD

It can be frustrating if you don't know where you're going, but it can also be fun because the new Legend of Zelda is a large open world game! So you can explore a vast amount of different areas ! Also, there's a lot of side quest missions you can do as well :) Very long game!
