I buy lots of books that are only sold in the U.S. Of course shipping cost can be expensive but that's the least I could do to support the authors.

Yes I use Amazon Japan to get Japanese books. A friend was complaining about some manga not being able to be sold. Maybe it's better today but j-companies have a habit of ignoring int'l markets. I see it more as a business opportunity

so for example if I wanted Hyouka (氷菓) manga I can only get it in German translation but not the Japanese manga directly. Also it's not licensed in English. There's a business opportunity lost.
