I just want to clarify that Japanese people also judge otakus quite harshly too and I think these people in the picture weren't looking at them in a bad way, but just maybe surprised. So my tweet wasn't against foreigners but rather people who don't get the otaku culture ^^

Honestly I would have been lying there if the character were Kaneki Ken from Tokyo Ghoul or Louise from Zero no Tsukaima. Not to mention I'd do anything Pikachu related too
