        In “East Side Sushi”, which is about a Latina woman in Oakland named Juana trying to make it as a sushi chef, the head chef of the sushi place she works at starts saying “KonnichiJuana” to her and feels very proud of his pun. It’s quite cute.

        I now confuse the name Juan and the Japanese word fuan because they sound so similar. Plus I think of the Boxer Coto when saying koto. When I hear Spanish people say they will go to the misa ( church mass ) I think of YOU!!!
