  Oh wow that's a bad one (but also funny ) , also not so easy to correct I guess because of the L/R. In Japanese I haven't made any embarrassing mistakes yet, but in Arabic I accidentally said "I want to piss" and some other vulgar words...

  Welll this wasn’t My mistake but I was there when my then girlfriend called me her novia in Spanish class, which is girlfriend haha. The class laughed really hard. Then she corrected to novio so she was accurate

  When I first came to Japan 13 years ago, I tried to impress some friends with all the different sushi that I had eaten. I wanted to say, “ウニを食べました”, but I actually said, “いぬを食べました”. They were horrified, and I was incredibly embarrassed. Haha

  during one class of my German course in high school we learned conjugation of a few verbs & one of them was "to like". Next class I was asked about them by the teacher (& my answers were graded) and he asked me to say "I like you" and I said "Ich liebe dich" (I love you)
