hello misa! not sure if ican ask it here but... you said that its rude to use ''anata'' but if i forget the name of the person, what should i do? btw,thank you ! (sorry if the english is bad, it's not my first language.)

Since we can omit the subject, you just don't say the word 'you'. So instead of 'Did you go to work?', you say 'went to work? (Shigoto ni ikimashita ka)'
