Mr. Zuckerberg has a long list of growth and success, but he also has a long list of apologies after apologies. This is proof to me that self-regulation does not work. We need action from Congress.

Growth happens from trying, failing, and trying again. At least he is trying to move our world forward. A great thing for you and Congress to think about.

At least when Facebook makes a mistake they step up admit it and try to correct it. The US CONGRESS could try that sometime. Your list of failures is long as well, yet where are your apologies?

NO We need protection from MONOPOLIES ESPECIALLY in the Media Biz!!! Which Democrats when they had a chance have been unwilling to do

So disappointed in line of questioning! Easy to be "protected from Facebook" - just don't sign up and share your personal data!! I am not a Cambridge VICTIM because I took the time to understand FB-set my privacy, control what I share, limit other's access! Share responsibility

Oh yes, I forgot Illinois has been managed in an unapologetically perfect fashion. With only 12.8 million to manage, as opposed to @facebook's 2.2 billion, it should be a comprehensible feat.

Please ask your colleagues to stop soliciting legislation from the people they intend to regulate. Communication is fine, education is necessary, but abdication of responsibility is disheartening.

That may be the case but as one who votes for you regularly & having watched every minute of the Senate & House “Facebook flogging” - I heard no one - on either panel - who has a clue - so I expect your regulatory hammer will do harm vs. good - sad.

Will you please shut-up! All you are attempting to do is a power grab over something you completely don't understand and YOU DON'T HAVE ANY ENTITLEMENT OVER OUR PRIVATE INFORMATION ANYMORE THEN ANYONE ELSE!! SO NO YOU DON'T GET TO MAKE NEW REGULATIONS EITHER. BACK OFF
