I had polio when I was 2 years old, a few years before the vaccine was developed and went public. I recovered fully. Now that I am a grandfather, I can begin to understand what my parents must have gone through. We must do all we can do to end polio.
Today on #WorldPolioDay, we celebrate US support for the global fight to #endpolio. With this support, @Rotary, @ShotatLife & global partners have reduced polio cases by 99.9% since 1988 by working with governments, health workers, & donors. Together, we will end polio!
