I had a 2008 Nissan Altima Any time I left the fob keys in the car and shut the door, the door would NOT lock followed by 3 sequential beeps letting me know I didn’t have my keys. The technology IS there and active. Parents need to be less distracted

Thank you. This shouldn’t be happening to people when there’s technology that could easily prevent it.

Just more crap to keep people less responsible and the government that can’t govern a big city feel more important

Maybe require people to put their phone with the baby. God knows they won’t forget that!

GM already has this in their cars, whenever the back doors open earlier in the trip, when you open your door it reminds you to look in the backseat. Leaving the keys in a car with remote start also will beep at you too.
