While I was chairing my CP&C Subcommittee hearing @EPAAWheeler was testifying before the one of the other @EnergyCommerce Subcommittees, Environment and Climate Change. I've submitted the following questions for the Administrator and look forward to his response:

The Great Lakes provide drinking water for 42M Americans & the Great Lakes Restoration Init. is a vitally important & successful program that improves water quality & provides many environmental benefits. The Great Lakes also face increased threats from effects of climate change

Do you @EPAAWheeler support restoring funding for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative to its original $475 million in annual appropriations?

The Administration wants to reduce the Illinois Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund, which fund drinking water facilities & lead pipe replacement. Nearly 1 in 5 Chicago homes have lead in their tap water & 37% of Chicago Public Schools have a tap with elevated lead levels.
