In fairness, this is not an issue that should be argued in generalities any more. Many places DO pay women the same as men, just as many workplaces have put women in positions of relative power where this was not the case years ago. Let's give credit to the ones who are trying!
It's been 10 years since @BarackObama signed the #FairPayAct, a critical law that has helped lessen the gender pay gap. For too long, women have worked often harder than men, only to be paid 80 cents on the man’s dollar and even less for women of color. #EqualPay
