No one works a minimum wage job as a career. They are starter jobs or supplemental jobs. If someone does do a minimum wage job as a career then they have bigger problems than the pay they are earning.

No one, regardless of employment status, should live in poverty. We are a wealthy nation and there is no excuse for anyone to lack necessities. A $15 minimum wage is a good start. A Guaranteed Minimum Income is a better goal.
