thank you, @janschakowsky! my social security benefit is my only source of income, and i'm disabled so I need medicare. @senatemajldr and @senategop need to keep their greedy, grubby paws OFF OF MY BENEFITS. I paid in to the system for 40 years; I need it now to survive.

SS. Medicare and Medicaid are NOT entitlements. The big tax cuts they gave the rich are the problem. I say put all congressmen and senators on Medicare. Take away their expensive insurances and salaries are a big part of the problem.

We knew this was coming. We just can't "afford" Social Security and Medicare. We just don't have the money. Tax cuts were "vital" and now we can starve granny to make up for them.
