President Trump’s 1st nominee to lead the @EPA Superfund cleanup was a disgraced banker, barred for life from the securities industry, with no experience in the environmental field. Now that he has resigned in disgrace, President Trump has nominated Peter Wright for the job.
Mr. Wright DOES have experience in the field – years of working for @DOWChemical to put corporate profits over public health.
We need a true champion to stand up to companies that pollute our air, our water, and our land, not another corporate yes man. The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works is voting on Mr. Wright’s nomination tomorrow. We CANNOT allow him to be confirmed.
