Do think that slash funding for snap will make the companies that run them investigate those who use the benefits more thoroughly? I have used them when I was in need and I am thankful. But there are people who sit at home and do nothing to find a job abusing this program.
Republicans are waging war on anti-poverty and anti-hunger programs.
TODAY in the House, they are trying to pass a #GOPbudget with $923 billion in cuts to anti-poverty programs and a Farm Bill that cuts #SNAP by $23 billion.

If you were really anti-poverty you'd focus your attention there instead of on the useless concern of "income inequality." Plus if you cared about Americans, you'd agree with budget cuts and free market principles to help pull our nation out of debt.
