But really. Don't go there. If you are 100% absolutely sure that you are going to be single forever, then spend your time with more productive stuff.

I have an average looking face, bad posture, and obscure interests that no one else gives a flying fuck about. Plus I'm kinda socially awkward. I was sure I was going to die single. After High school I have met a girl, dated for a short while, a year later another one.

During those two short relationships I was convinced that these girls made some kind of mistake dating me. Like... Impostor syndrome with relationships...? I thought that most women see through this though, so with those two short relationship my dating life ended there.

And then I have spent 5 years being single. The first few months were bad. I felt alone, even a lock of my hair turned grey. Then I decided to pick myself up, because being single means more free time to do productive shit.

So I've tried a lot of stuff, Joining a medieval reenactment group, working on a radio play, making shitty animated shorts, volunteering at cultural festivals, playing bass in a band, do a lot of tabletop Role playing, spending a summer working at the USA etc.

I was single, I had a lot of free time, so I might as well bring the best out of it. Then I met a woman, and we started dating. A few years later we had a daughter, then married, and now we are expecting our second child. But that's another, story.
