Someday I'll fake a gender reveal party and have the confetti be a rainbow of colors. We'll both just say "We're having a baby that we'll love and spoil" I don't actually think any of our friends care what sexual organs our baby is born with. It's not normal to care.

My goal, too. “Surprise - it’s a human!”

You probably mean “Surprise - it’s going to be a human when born!” It’s off narrative to call it a human in the womb.

I think "human" is fine but happy to learn more about your view. I read it as a modifier for (human) fetus (as opposed to another species). What's your source for "human" being off? The human fetus isn't a human being until it's born is my thought but I'd like to learn more.

I think Brandon here is under the misconception that abortion rights hang on the humanity of embryos/fetuses, rather than the humanity of pregnant people, so he thinks this is a "gotcha" & that pro-choice people have veered off their "narrative" when they call fetuses human.

Correct. Abortion robs the unborn of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Bonus points: it’s racist

Your profile says “allblacklivesmatter”, but you’re bored about killing millions of mostly-black babies. Seems inconsistent

No, I'm bored with tired ass anti-choice propaganda.

I’m not anti-choice. I just think the baby gets a choice, too

I’m fascinated - how do doctors get informed consent from fetuses for ultrasounds and other testing?! Also why isn’t fetal choice being used in cases of “normalizing” surgeries for intersex infants ... or circumcision for that matter?!
