what is brill about this book is you might think you're immune to influencers but shows how they're driving ideas about performing motherhood - a bit like the blue turtleneck in Devil Wears Prada: those shitty norms + ideals were picked out for you!

This grown-adult lit lacks character development. The main guy starts out as an adult, is still an adult at the end, only with sadder pants.
