    With customers, you have to constantly, obsessively show that you are different. If you're a dentist, it's OK to give off the impression that you're more or less just another, ordinary dentist. In marketing, you really can't make people think you're just another agency.

    In hiring, you have to develop a process to quickly screen out charlatans and identify them as such. The best ones are good at smooth talking over the fact that they are charlatans, and they will eat up your time.
