I was with you on the first tweet but don’t understand the second. Is it because if she can regulate this she can regulate other sites?

My point is that conservatives arguing for the regulation of social media companies assume that the regulations would take place in a way conservatives would like, which likely wouldn’t happen if a different administration were in charge.

Tim pool (not conservative) is calling for it because he assumes the court system would force the regulations towards maximal speech, even if the government wrote more restrictive ones. That isn’t an unreasonable assumption.
