    I've testified in front of and Senate Armed Services Comm on the importance of speed-based metrics such as my 1/10/60 rule proposal to measure efficacy and set goals for cyber programs. has also done great work in this area 4/4

    Section 1733 creates a pilot program to use speed-based metrics to measure performance and efficacy of DoD's security providers and security operations centers. We need robust and meaningful metrics to measure what we are getting out of our security solutions and programs 3/4

    Section 1705 grants much needed authorities to hunt on Federal government networks, as well as run their cyber programs (at the agency's request). This will go a long way towards making CISA the operational "CISO" of the Federal civilian agencies 2/4

    I guess this is a good lesson for why Snowden and Lindsey are applying for Russian citizenship.

    How it’s done in Russia: my colleague, human rights activist got a stamp in her residency permit that it was annulled. No warning. Two weeks to leave the country. The official looked at her and asked: ‘Вам все понятно?’ Chilling, infuriating, unfair.

    A warning thread

    A study from Korea showing why indoor dining is unsafe and why airborne transmission matters. Case B infected case A from 6.5m (~21 feet!) away in *just five minutes*, and case C from 4.8m (15 feet!). Footage shows no interaction—and only those in line of air flow got infected.
