I've been screaming about the PBGC and companion legislation, ERISA, for years. The real American tragedy is no one gives a shit until they are PERSONALLY HARMED. By then it's too late and they've been screwed. THERE IS NO SECURITY IN EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT INCOME PROGRAMS.
