Climate change is the biggest global issue of our time, intertwined with and/or at the root of every other major concern. We CANNOT let our government get away with treating it like a game. The UK must lead the effort to make COP26 a success with thoughtful & serious action.

This is disingenuous from . Progress is being made, but it illustrates just how little had been done by UUK until recently, and how staff are having to pay for this inaction. Luckily, a bit more understanding than this has been shown in recent negotiations.

Dear UK, You were my home for more than 3 years. The 1st country abroad I lived in & gained a lot of knowledge. I felt welcome every day. I made so many friends & carry fond memories. It’s a sad day for me. I feel like a close friend is moving away. Yet our Bond remains. 🇪🇺🇬🇧

The hypocrisy of the government’s position is breathtaking The PM boasted that a string of investment deals from the UK Africa summit would promote clean energy - but my questions reveal that in fact they promote yet more fossil fuels

A video clip I took during - gives an idea of conditions on a windy day. This was force 7-8 (~15 m/s). It got windier & the blowing snow layer deeper over next hour. Eventually we got called back in cos visibility was too poor to spot polar bears. Sort of fun :)
