I mean, there has been a shortage of quarters recently.
Holy shit. Maybe they just needed to do THEIR laundry? Maybe this is how banks are replenishing their supplies?

I was just about to say the same thing. My mom and I had to drive to 3 different banks on our weekend errands just to get one roll of quarters, each.

We somehow got $20 in quarters in anticipation for needing to do our laundry more than once (I realize how dystopian that sounds), and now we’re just sitting on extra quarters, guarding them like a hot ticket commodity.
