I like editing in Adobe Premiere, but the other day we had to open up #FinalCutPro 7 for a very strange little visual test for SYNCHRONIC, and I got all nostalgic.
Did it feel archaic, or was it just as lovely as we all fondly remember in the before-times?

Well, truth be told, that choking on H264 files is still pretty frustrating, and that red render bar over the timeline pops up with the tiniest change...

Hoo boy, I do not miss the render bar. Also, the whole process of importing footage used to be the actual worse. Nostalgia is weird.
