Because of the layoffs from Blizzard/Activision, several MCN's (Defy Media, etc.), Fox Studios, and a growing echo of oncoming/lingering others, including from the company I work for, I feel the bubble on jobs creation has finally popped.
It's sad and heartbreaking, and I truly feel for those who've lost their jobs. But you know what I'm excited for? The creative energy and innovation soon to be generated by incredibly smart and dedicated people in these fields who are now free to create without strings attached.
