This is so brutally awful. At a company I worked for, they brought everyone in at 9 AM and told us they were laying 60 people off. No one knew who. The company still has a lot of PTSD from that day, and I wish every day I would've been tapped on the shoulder, if it means anything. Regardless, this latest round of layoffs across the industry is again heartbreaking and I hope they all land safely into great jobs/environments.
I can only imagine. It was such a terrorizing experience. I never want to have to be in that kind of situation again. The company lost too many good people that day, but I’m glad to see they’re all off doing other things and using their talents elsewhere.
Some* Some of them are doing that. lol. Still trying to leave on my end. But for those who got out, I'm glad to see them really knocking it out of the park.
