I like the idea, but I also fear a dystopia where people can only really afford one, maybe two subscriptions per month, which means that almost all other (likely smaller and indie) theatre chains get left out.
I’ve been on the idea that theaters should have different prices for differently tiered films, depending on budget, size, and use of theater space. I’d be afraid of it knocking smaller films out, but if you make it like surge pricing for Uber, might work.
