The Luv Gov has it wrong. It actually wasn't Trump that made the threat, it was Jenny Sanford.
Nothing wrong with giving American voters another choice if he won't work for his people. If he does a good job, nothing to worry about :)

I've never liked Sanford, I know I don't like Trump and I'm sure I really don't care for Mulvaney. But of the 3, Sanford is least offensive
