I blame the fossil fuel companies. They only care about their shareholders & profits. They lobby govts for drilling rights, greenwash their PR& try to blame the public for climate change. The real villain of this is capitalism, we can’t do much while it is the dominant economy.
Maybe “climate” disaster isn’t enough: these are fossil-fueled wildfires, hurricanes, and floods. Let’s be clear about what’s at the root of the current crisis: our ongoing addiction to coal, oil and gas.pic.twitter.com/unoVaKbPhv

Bay Area now: Keep your windows closed and run your AC because of the smoke. People without AC are sitting in their cars idling because of the heat wave. People are avoiding public transit and driving due to the pandemic.
