    Cutting Universal Credit by £20 a week could drive up relative poverty from 21% today to 23% by 2024-25, while a further 730,000 children would fall into poverty. The decision on UC will help define whether this is to be a parliament of levelling up incomes, or pushing up poverty

    We dug through everything we’ve learned from our users this year. This is what we’ve learned about what work is really like for hourly workers. Spoiler alert: things could and should be a lot better!

    ➡️ Being paid by the hour in 2020 is precarious, unpredictable, badly paid and head office doesn't know what they're doing. 📝 We surveyed 50,000 people about their hourly jobs. We've written up what we learnt, what employees think, and why it matters.
