As James notes in the next tweet on an otherwise unrelated thread, this advert is 😒

Musk’s lawyer made one of the first mistakes they teach you in law school: never underestimate how much of a friggin’ douchebag Jack Dorsey is.

  5. The ministry of justice is a public embarrassment. Several government PR teams are a total embarrassment and get off very lightly, by convention. Which is a shame as a few teams are very good and could teach the rest a lot.

  6. This is jaw-dropping stupidity. If you’re petty and small enough to abuse for doing her job – showing how you’re failing at yours, DON’T do it on official systems. How thick do you have to be to think you won’t get caught?

This is appalling. If this is as described - and there seems to be no reason to doubt it - Rossindell must be held to account. This is a mirror image of Corbyn and other Labourites descent into the political and social media swamp

Twitter now shows you your “frequently used gifs” in-app and…they feel quite on brand?

Seems like almost every national newspaper has rewritten a court story from – presumably via a wire service – and as he’s valiantly trying to point out, got it wrong. It’s the classic “soft judge”, “unfair light sentence”, “justice system is a joke” stuff, too…

Not the biggest deal here but…did Michael Gove forget the word “lamb”?

False equivalence here: it’s easy to be genuinely outraged at the disingenuous fucks who fake outrage at “motherfucker” but dismiss Trump’s comments as “locker room talk”, etc. (That is not an easy sentence to structure, it turns out)

This has all the hallmarks of becoming a criminal justice myth that will run for years. I give it a week, tops, until it’s cited by a politician for one reason or another.

Interesting read, this: on acting, empathy, and only a tiny bit about Brexit.

Not sure I buy Netflix doing anything wrong here – the linked Daily Dot piece pretty much discredits the “Netflix made fake accounts to start memes” theory, and the “don’t do the bird box challenge” tweet was just…a good brand tweet? Seems to me like a social team doing its job?

Or you just graduated so you took lots of part time work over 1 year in order to write a book about it, as part of your career 🤷‍♀️

Since the president is now talking about it, you should probably read this alarming story about his emergency powers
