  16. To little time is spent on the “why is math cool” before we jump in to asking “how do we teach math” .

  17. Before a student will explore on a subject on their own we have to show them why it's worth exploring.

  18. Institutionally often teach a subject before asking "where's the wonder". We have to understand why what we teach is engaging

  19. A1 - I've always found the best assessment to be asking them to apply it to their lives.
