I saw @ewarren a lot early and she had a great story to tell and I thought that would power her campaign, knitting a hardscrabble upbringing with clear-eyed populism. But something didn't take. She stayed true to her academic persona and never found a way to connect with others:

But strangest thing about Warren camp was the lack of political ID. She seemed to lose her own plot. She started out being the smartest person to fix government and ended being shaming Bernie and Bloomberg about sexism. As productive as that may have been, it didn't help her.
