I shouldn't have looked at apartment listings in my city. I'm paying more for my 1-bedroom than almost half of the 2-bedroom listings. It's with the same real estate company, and one of the listings is in my same neighborhood. 
You could always break your lease and move. Worst case scenario you lose your security deposit, and by the way it sounds you’d save money overall!

Yeaahhhh Irvine Company would charge me over $5,000 to do that, when moving to another unit of the same size would only save me around $1200 a year or a 2bd for the same price. Haha. Otherwise I would. Guess I’ll just continue in my tiny little 1bd for now hahaha.
